Hector Valverde

A graduate of the University of New Mexico’s 2018 Honors Psychology program and now a returning doctoral student, Hector Valverde has been researching different forms of noninvasive brain stimulation to enhance cognition under the tutelage of Dr. Vince Clark. His current projects and dissertation aim at improving the formation of memory and its consolidation using transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and closed-loop auditory stimulation (CLAS) during wake and sleep, respectively.
