Claudia Tesche Lab

Director: Claudia Tesche

Dr. Tesche’s research interest include:

  1. the use of magnetoencephalography (MEG) and electroencephalography (EEG) to characterize changes in brain dynamics induced by transcranial direct current (tDCS) and alternating current (tACS) stimulation
  2. the use of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to map changes in cortical inhibition following tDCS/tACS
  3. the modulation of attention and of craving following tDCS (Stone & Tesche, 2009)
  4. MEG characterization of network dynamics in adolescents with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD)

Dr. Tesche will build on her expertise in MEG imaging of brain dynamics to explore the hypothesis that concordance between the brain’s intrinsic oscillatory activity and oscillatory transcranial stimulation will lead to more effective utilization of stimulation methodologies across multiple domains.
